Step into a world alive with humour through storytelling in this interactive, bold workshop. Guided by Almass Badat, we’ll unearth the joy, express the real, and amplify the voices of Redbridge’s creative community. Together, we’ll craft a five-minute provocative audio piece and collage-cover art, celebrating laughter as a radical act of empowerment and presenting oral history as radical art.

This Event is taking place at Valentine's Mansion Come and enjoy a wonderful selection of books and rhymes for under 5's with our brilliant characters in costume. No need to book, just drop in! Second Monday of every month.

Invitation only. Requires referral to the Early Years Inclusion Pathway to access. These fun, stimulating and interactive play activities give your children a space to learn and socialise safely, while their needs are met and their progress supported. An allocated key person as well as health and/or education professionals will support parents and carers with individual learning plans. Referral needed by a health or education professional for the Early Years Inclusion Pathway. This is a Best Start in Life weekly session (term time only). When you see Helpful Hakim you can expect an activity to support children with learning and developmental delay or SEND.
